About Us

The Utah Cold War Victory Medal is the result of a grassroots effort led by a few Utah Veterans who saw the need to recognize those who served during the cold war. These veterans have recognized over 1000 Utah veterans to date . This site was created as a result of the many requests from veterans, families of veterans,  community leaders, and civilians to provide a simple resource to secure the medals, share stories, and to collect names and donations for future public and private pinning ceremonies.

The Utah Cold War Victory Medal foundation is currently being organized and will operate as a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation. This foundations purpose is to honor Veterans and the families of those who served during the cold war. It is estimated that there are over 100,000 Utah Veterans who served and need to be recognized.
